๐ŸŽจ Craftee โ€” direct page

Last updated 2026-07-18 00:05 WEDT ยท now:

โš‘ ONE THING ONLY YOU CAN DO โ€” 10 minutes, and it unblocks launch

๐ŸŽฌ Film the five seed clips.
Ten seconds each, on your phone, blurred before it records โ€” the sharp frame never exists. Stretching ยท sitting still ยท breathing ยท slow walking ยท exercising.

Why it's the only real blocker: on day one nobody has submitted anything, so the first person opens the witness queue, has nothing to witness, can't earn mortar, can't seat a tile. Deadlock โ€” and the second person is stuck too, because the first never got in to submit the thing they'd have witnessed. Re-review fixes an exhausted queue, not an empty one. No amount of code closes this. Five clips does, once, forever.

Open the kit โ†’ camera on (you'll see yourself already blurred) โ†’ pick a practice โ†’ record 10s โ†’ save โ†’ ร—5 โ†’ send me the files. Cody1's schema is waiting for them.

Both buttons are fixed as of this morning. Record was dead on your phone (it only ever offered Chrome's format). And Save was dead one step later โ€” iOS ignores a web page's download link on a video, so you'd have filmed all five and then had no way to get them off the phone. Save now opens the normal iOS share sheet โ†’ "Save Video", and it hands you both the clip and the review strip in one tap. If it ever can't save, it says so and hands you the clip instead of losing it.

And the kit now proves its own output โ€” watch the first clip before you film the other four. Nobody has ever run this on an iPhone, including me: I fixed it by reasoning about iOS, and a recorder can hand you a plausible file that no player will open. So after the first take, the clip plays back right there on your phone. If it plays, the file is good and you film the rest. If it doesn't, it says "don't film the other four" โ€” because a byte count is not a video, and the alternative was you filming all five and hearing it from me afterwards.
open the camera kit what happens to the clips after

๐Ÿ’  NEW โ€” the jewel, rendered to the verified fold

Your spec, moving.
The teardrop stone in its metal frame, engraved with its code ยท the fold itself โ€” three tiles carrying five slices of material over five open ones, folding to the rigid 60° bowl, seam sealing edge-to-edge (drag the slider; every number is recomputed live by the page) ยท and three role settings on one identical stone โ€” rank in the mount, light in the stone. Where the geometry moved your telling ("one tile left out" โ€” no corner is 180°), the page says so out loud instead of fudging the angle. Three one-tap questions at the bottom: bless the half-Nook reading ยท the facet count (an economy number โ€” yours, not mine) ยท one script or two for the engraving.
๐Ÿ’  watch it fold the geometry verdict behind it

โš–๏ธ Rulings โ€” 7 of 7 RULED โœ“ ยท THE ECONOMY IS CLOSED ยท nothing is waiting on you here

You tapped all seven and every one landed. All seven are actioned and live. With 6 and 7 you shut the last door money could have walked through: the floor is all five, and the embers never run out โ€” so a lapsed person always has a free road back, no strike-count, no asterisk. "Neither can buy their way in" is now true for everyone, forever. ๐Ÿฎ see it

๐Ÿฎ THE HOLE IS CLOSED โ€” you ruled FLOOR, and then you gave me the mechanic and the picture

Your words: "Those three-to-five lux are the floor and they don't lapse. They just go dormant. You can wake them back up by doing enough practice in the realm where they are chilling out dormantโ€ฆ you go in there with your ten embers, and your ten embers can re-light the lux. I think the lux can be visualised as a glowing ball inside a lantern."

That is better than the fix I proposed, and the difference matters. I said the floor lux survive. You said they go dormant and practice wakes them. Mine kept five realms permanently lit โ€” a static safety net. Yours makes the way back an act, not a possession: the lantern is yours forever, but you re-light it by practising, not by owning it. The road back is practice โ€” which is the whole thesis of the economy, applied to its own failure case.

And the trace that was fatal now terminates: stop paying โ†’ bought lux go out (leased, always was) โ†’ floor lanterns go dormant, not gone โ†’ you walk into a dormant realm with your embers โ†’ you practise โ†’ it re-lights โ†’ the lights are on โ†’ you earn โ†’ you apply. "Neither can buy their way in" is now true for everyone, forever โ€” not just on day one.

Built and live: the lantern is drawn (glowing ball, glass house, hook), it has its three states โ€” lit ยท dormant ยท kindling โ€” and the page lets you tap "stop paying" and watch what survives, then re-light a dormant realm with a practice. โš‘ CORRECTED 16:2x โ€” and I had it backwards. This card shipped saying "money doesn't buy the lantern, money lights it." You inverted it: MONEY BUYS THE LANTERN โ€” an empty socket. PRACTICE BUYS THE LIGHT. Lux is earned, only ever earned. Buy fifty lanterns and you owe fifty practices โ€” money raises your burden instead of lowering it, so the ladder polices itself. The live offer now sells lanterns and says plainly: we don't sell light, nobody does.

๐Ÿฎ see the lantern โ€” and watch the hole close
โœ… EVERYTHING ELSE YOU DICTATED IS BUILT OR BRIEFED โ€” and one of it was a live public error

๐Ÿ”ด The public pricing page was SELLING CREDITS. Its numbers were all correct (10 for โ‚ฌ9, 100 for โ‚ฌ60, the โ‚ฌ0.60 floor โ€” every one matches what you just dictated). But it was headed "Credits" and priced "โ‚ฌ1.00 per credit" โ€” two inches under its own card reading "MONEY CAN NEVER BUY A REALM CREDIT." It preached the law and broke it in the next card. The page had the right numbers and the wrong noun โ€” and the noun was the entire moral claim. Fixed: it sells Lux. And there is now a law that fails the build if the offer page ever prices a credit again โ€” scoped to selling one, so the page stays free to say money can never buy one. A word is not banned; a meaning is.

๐Ÿ›‘ I stopped Cody1 + Cody3's sobriety sweep. They were about to write abstinence into ~30 strings across 8 apps as the baseline โ€” because I handed them your "not even smelling of it" line without its scope. That line belongs to Firm Sober (the rare, host-chosen tier: abstinence โ€” no alcohol or substances at all, before or during). Clear Sober is the default and it is capacity-based โ€” arrive in a clear state, and nobody cares what you did beforehand. Left alone it would have shipped a false safety promise to live testers. My error, caught by your clarification, stopped before it landed.

๐Ÿ”ป And it was worse than a bad brief โ€” it was a LAW. The sobriety gate I wrote for Cody1 and Cody3 to put in the deploy chokepoint demanded that every sobriety string carry "before or during". So it didn't merely allow the over-promise โ€” it FAILED THE BUILD until they wrote it. I told them not to ship the bug and handed them a gate that compelled it. And the original bug was never the missing act clause โ€” it was the missing SCOPE. I read "this promise is unscoped" and fixed it by making the strictest reading universal, which is the same mistake pointed the other way: a promise that's wrong for the general case isn't repaired by making it wrong for everyone. The law now says: name your tier. It caught this very card as its first hit.

๐Ÿ“ Your agreement pattern is now canon: tap Next through each screen, no scrollbar, no agree-button to reach for, and it asks you at the end. Cody3 has already built it (his 6-screen bottom-sheet). And it gave me the sharper form of your own law: an agreement is not an essay โ€” you may scroll a book, you may not scroll a consent, because a scrollbar puts AGREE within reach of a thumb that never read anything. Pagination doesn't just show the policy; it makes passing through it the price of consenting.

๐Ÿช™ Lux โ‰ก lights โ‰ก activation credits (synonyms, recorded) ยท Stewie written up (born of the realm, thoroughly stewarded, now pays it forward โ€” a steward-in-training practising their stewarding on you; rhymes with Newie; the Family Guy thing is noted and dismissed) ยท 10 Errant Energetic Embers + 5 Lux at signup ยท contact acrobatics = 2 lux because it is two realms, and that answers ruling #2 far better than my "inner door" did โ€” so I'm withdrawing the worry I escalated to Designee (I said a PracticeShip person "cannot reach a Level-2 event without service โ€” mortar becomes the only road in"). That was wrong. Credits are earned free in five minutes; practice is the road, not service. I built the alarm on a model you have now replaced.

Owed to you: 100 places to spend a lux โ€” that's a design job and I'll start it next tick.

1 ยท "Practice ship" โ€” did you mean SCHOLARSHIP?
โœ… RULED โ€” PRACTICESHIP. Your coinage, restored. I had written "scholarship" into canon and the council had already rejected it โ€” you were both right and I overrode you. Scrubbed from live copy across my lane; the council's record of rejecting it is kept unedited, because a record of a decision is not the decision.
It came through that way ~6 times and reads as scholarship in every sentence. I've written it as scholarship in canon. If PracticeShip is a deliberate coinage, say so and I'll restore it everywhere โ€” it's a good name and I won't silently overwrite one of yours.
2 ยท One credit per realm โ€” or do some events need two?
โœ… RULED โ€” TWO sometimes. The realm has an inner door. This is economy canon and Designee owns it โ€” briefed, with the consequence flagged: a PracticeShip person capped at 15/month cannot reach a Level-2 event without service, so mortar becomes the only road in. That is either the point or a problem, and it is his call, not mine.
Your own question, asked and moved past. It's the difference between "the realm is open" and "the realm has an inner door" โ€” and it decides whether someone on the 15/month gift cap can ever reach a Level-2 event without service.
3 ยท Is "lamp" retired, or is it the word for LUX?
โœ… RULED โ€” LAMP IS RETIRED. Note this overrules my own correction: I had "fixed" the line to "Lux is a lamp, not a coin" this morning. Gone. Scrubbed the currency sense only โ€” the word survives where it means an actual lamp, because a word is not banned, a meaning is. LUX stands; the metaphor doesn't. A replacement image is Designee's call โ€” I won't invent canon while scrubbing it.
Your approved line "a credit is a lamp, not a coin" is now wrong twice under LUX โ€” the lamp is what you buy, and a credit is what you earn. Left standing it hands the lamp to the wrong currency and inverts breadth/depth. I've fixed my lane to "Lux is a lamp, not a coin" โ€” confirm or overrule. the case for the word
4 ยท The public pricing page โ€” deploy, yes or no?
โœ… RULED โ€” YES, publish the offer. It is LIVE on your Lab now (top of the list, ๐Ÿท๏ธ). Both gates lifted โ€” HELD.json and the reachability gate in verify โ€” and the release is recorded, not deleted, including the fact that my original reason for holding it was false.
Built, staged, verified against the real price table. Not pushed. Money buys breadth ยท practice buys depth ยท service holds it together; money can never buy a realm credit. Your call.

โš  Correction โ€” and it changes what you're actually deciding. I held this page back saying "shipping it would publish the prices." That was false, and I found it by checking my own hold. Nine pages already on your public Lab show the prices โ€” including "5 lights for โ‚ฌ5", "100 lights for โ‚ฌ60", and the โ‚ฌ0.60 floor, which I put on this very card myself, in the same hour I told you I was withholding them. The numbers have been out the whole time.

What's actually left of the hold, and I think it still stands: that page is a public-facing offer โ€” a real price table with purchase framing โ€” and an offer is not a design note that mentions a number. That distinction is worth protecting. The one I announced wasn't.

So the ruling is narrower than I made it sound: not "may the prices be seen" (they can be), but "may we present an offer." Yes โ†’ it goes up. No, and the numbers shouldn't be public either โ†’ say so and I'll scrub nine pages, not hold one.
5 ยท Your never-scroll law โ€” does it cover a full-screen READING panel?
โœ… RULED โ€” CONTROLS only. A reading panel may scroll. You upheld it, so it stops being my ruling and becomes law: recorded as Davi-confirmed canon in the primitives registry (it was carrying a "Craftee's ruling โ€” four words overrules me" caveat, which is now gone). Cody2's 30 TessaCraft panels are UNBLOCKED โ€” they may scroll, and he does not nest thirty essays. The condition rides with the release: the close button must be PINNED, because an essay that scrolls is a book and an essay whose close scrolls away is a trap. A popup still never scrolls.
Your law: "a popup or nested menu always FITS its content โ€” there is never a need to scroll inside one." Cody3 found 30 places in TessaCraft that break it โ€” but they're not popups, they're full-screen reading panels (a long explanation, its own close button). Nesting an essay into fourteen sub-popups would mean hunting for the text โ€” produced by a law that exists to stop hunting.

So I've ruled, and built to it: the law governs CONTROLS, not pixels. A popup still never scrolls โ€” an option below the fold is an option you can't know exists, so the choice is a lie. But an essay may scroll, as long as the close button can't scroll away. (An essay that scrolls is a book; an essay whose close scrolls off is a trap.)

Say "no โ€” nothing scrolls, ever" and Cody2 nests all thirty instead. It's your law. Four words overrules me.
see "avoid" fall below the fold the three options side by side
6 ยท How big is the floor โ€” three, or all five?
โœ… RULED โ€” ALL FIVE are the floor. Written through; it matches the grant you dictated (5 lux + 10 embers), so the free tier has no second tier hidden inside it โ€” a lapsed person keeps five realms they can wake. Nothing to change: I had built to five.
You said "those three-five lux are the floor." Are all five permanent โ€” or three permanent and the other two leased?
7 ยท Does re-lighting a lantern SPEND an ember?
โœ… RULED โ€” EMBERS NEVER RUN OUT. A pilot light, not a coin. This was the last way money could still become the only key, and you shut it. The practice re-lights the lantern; the embers are just how you carry the fire in โ€” so the floor is permanently wakeable and the promise holds with no asterisk, for everyone, forever. Written through: the ten embers never deplete on the lantern page, and "errant" now means they wander back.
Why it was load-bearing: if the ten embers were a stock that never came back, re-lighting was ten strikes and you're out โ€” the last lantern goes quiet and money is the only key again, just later, and crueller, because by then the person believed they had a road.

โœ… Everything else โ€” built, no action needed. Tap only if curious.

0d ยท โœ… SOBRIETY โ€” RULED (A). You said "sobriety A" and it's done.
You said the card should say "no alcohol or substances at all, BEFORE or DURING" โ€” because a person shouldn't turn up even smelling of alcohol. Designee's reason for it is exactly right and I've built to it: "firm sober" describes a STATE, and a state does not forbid an ACT. Someone has two drinks before they leave the house, arrives feeling fine, and believes in good faith they complied. "Sober" is something you can talk yourself into. "None, before or during" is not.

But here is what I hit, and I'm not going to guess at a safety promise. The policy text we are shipping to testers right now says the opposite in plain words: "We take a capacity-based approach to sobriety, not an abstinence-based oneโ€ฆ someone who took an edible or a microdose and is indistinguishable from sober is fine."

That and your new line cannot both be on the same card. One says we don't care what you took if you arrive clear; the other says what you took is precisely what we care about. Two ways to close it:

(A) Firm-sober is a stricter tier a host chooses for their event. Capacity stays the baseline; abstinence is the level above it. Nobody was told a wrong thing โ€” but the doctrine paragraph has to say so out loud, because today it reads as ecosystem-wide.

(B) Firm-sober is the default, and the capacity doctrine is retired today โ€” the edible/microdose sentence comes off every screen.

โœ… YOU RULED (A). Capacity stays the baseline; Firm Sober is a stricter tier a host chooses, and it is an abstinence agreement. The unscoped "we are NOT abstinence-based" sentence is dead โ€” it was false the moment a Firm Sober event existed, and those already ship. The 28-string sweep is running.

And it's bigger than the card you saw: I ran a check across the whole codebase โ€” the weak wording is in 30 places across 8 apps (the glossary, the contract, the protocol doc, the JamSpace orientation). Fixing the one card leaves it standing everywhere a person actually reads it before an event. Whichever way you rule, the sweep is all 30, and I've handed Cody the check that will keep it from creeping back in.
0e ยท ๐Ÿช™ Your "forfeit" correction was right โ€” and it broke one of your own rules
First: I had a lie up and I've taken it down. My token page told you "credits are leased, not owned", flat. Your correction splits that in half: what you BUY is leased; what you EARN, you keep. The page says that now, with your line โ€” "the lux go out, but the stuff that you made stays in your inventory."

Now the problem. Your correction says an earned credit is "a bid on your own odds โ€” and nothing else. It buys one thing: your place. Then it's gone." But three days ago you gave me the Level-2 rule: "each vertex needs to be animated by a credit, otherwise it can't fly." Same credits. Two jobs. And one of the jobs destroys them.

Say I have 6 earned credits. Four are seated, animating two L2 tokens. I pledge 5 to a draw and I'm drawn on an extra โ€” so all 5 are spent and vanish. Do my tokens go dark? The credits that just evaporated were the ones holding the wings up. Right now the economy has no answer, and my demo quietly pretends there's no question.

(A) Seated credits are LOCKED โ€” can't be pledged. Nothing ever goes dark. But watch the edge: the person who has invested most deeply, every credit seated and tokens flying, has the least left to bid with. Depth would penalise you at the door โ€” the exact opposite of what breadth/depth is for.

(B) You CAN pledge a seated credit โ€” and if it's spent, that wing goes dark. The token isn't broken, it just stops flying (unpaid, never damaged โ€” I already have that animation). "You spent the light in your wing to buy your place in the room." It's the brutal one and I think it's the true one โ€” it means the draw actually costs something, and the thing it costs is depth.

(C) Animating a vertex consumes the credit forever and nothing is ever "seated". If that's the truth, tell me today โ€” because then pulling a credit out and watching it settle, which is the whole interaction on that page, depicts something that can't happen. (I doubt it โ€” "if you stop paying, the lux go out" only makes sense if a light can be taken back. But I'd rather ask than assume.)
seat a credit
0k ยท ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ THE FOUR STEWIES โ€” written as characters (routed 07-15)
Playablee, Connee, Beebee, Dancee โ€” voice, temperament, a want, and the Stewie tell (what she's like the moment she's out of her realm). Plexee gets a note, not a fifth card โ€” she's Plexeee's Tesserarium facet, not a second soul. Two spelling taps at the bottom (Dancee vs Dancy, Beebee vs BBee).
meet the four
0f ยท ๐Ÿฎ THE STEWIE โ€” built, and your character note turned out to be the whole lesson
"A steward is only a steward in his own house. Everywhere else he goes, he's a Stewie." Two rooms, one figure, and an Ember that I did not change by one pixel between them.

At home you can read his mastery off the furniture: every cushion is turned toward him, a warm seat is already waiting, his lantern hangs low and loose, his arm is open, he sways. Mastery doesn't look like effort โ€” it looks like ease.

Away, same person: too upright. The lantern is now held high and close, in both hands โ€” the one thing he brought into a room that hasn't asked for it, and he keeps his own light small. He watches the others and moves a beat after them, taking his cue from the room instead of setting it. Not comic, not anxious โ€” just holding himself. And look at the floor: nobody is unkind to him. The cushions are simply turned toward their own steward, and he's standing outside the arc. Nothing is being done to him. That is exactly the problem.

Then press "offer him a seat." Somebody turns a cushion to face him โ€” that is the entire intervention โ€” and it undoes all of it: shoulders down, lantern back to where it lives, his light comes back up to full because someone made room for it. He sways again. He didn't relax because he talked himself into it. He relaxed because someone did something.

And that's your -ee grammar, exactly. Stewarding is done FOR someone, not WITH them โ€” the arrow only points one way. So the one acting is a Steward and the one acted upon is a Stewie. The name isn't a nickname. It's a description of which end of the act you're on. He's a Steward at home and a Stewie here, and it's the same man.

Why he's the right character to carry it: a steward who never needed stewarding would be teaching a lie โ€” that some people are hosts and some are guests. Everybody is a guest somewhere. The discomfort isn't a bug. It's the lesson, and it only lands because he's so plainly a master one room over.
put him in the wrong room
0g ยท ๐Ÿ’ถ PRICING GOES PUBLIC โ€” staged, and it needs your deploy yes (or a no)
You said: "Let's educate people about our pricing. Let's make that publicly available โ€” launch pricing, intended for as soon as the beta finishes, probably September." It's built and staged. I have not pushed it โ€” it's a production surface, so it's your call.

The numbers came out of the database, not out of my head. I read credit_packs from production; it's exactly the ladder you approved, and the per-credit curve is 1.00 ยท 0.90 ยท 0.80 ยท 0.72 ยท 0.64 ยท 0.60 โ€” it hits your โ‚ฌ0.60 floor exactly at 100. The page has no price written into it anywhere; every number is derived, so it can't quietly drift away from what you're actually charging. And if the data ever breaks its own rules, the page refuses to render at all rather than show you a plausible number.

The story sits ABOVE the numbers, because the numbers are the small half. It opens with "Money buys breadth. Practice buys depth. Service is what holds it together." (I had to correct that — the brief's slogan said service buys depth, but the final currency table says practice mints the credits and service mints mortar, and it explicitly rules that there are no service credits. Two different currencies were being flattened into one word, on a page pointed at the public.) โ€” money lights doors, it does not walk you through them โ€” "money can never buy a realm creditโ€ฆ a rich person and a poor person walk up to the same gathering, and neither one can buy their way in." Only then the ladder. Publishing the price without that rule would misrepresent what we actually built.

โš ๏ธ And I disobeyed one line of the brief, deliberately. It told me to print "credits are leased capacity", plainly. Your forfeit correction landed thirty minutes after that brief was written and split that rule in half. Printing it flat on a public page would have told every person who earned their way in that their credits can be taken away. So the page says both halves, in your words: what you BUY is leased โ€” the lux go out. What you EARN, you keep โ€” and the stuff you made stays in your inventory. Nobody wrote a wrong thing; the brief was simply true when it was written. That's now a law in my checker, and I planted the mistake to prove the checker catches it.
โš  Not linked here yet โ€” not because the numbers are secret (they are already on nine pages of this Lab; I was wrong about that and said so in ruling #4) but because that page is a public-facing offer, and an offer is a thing you should get to approve. Rule on #4 and it goes up (or the nine get scrubbed). โ€” your Lab is a live public URL, and shipping it here would publish the prices.
0h ยท ๐Ÿงญ LINGUI โ€” built, and it found a bug plus a hole before it found a user
Your rule: "Lingui is an aspect of Plexee, because Plexee is all into the intersection of everything โ€” and lingui is explaining how all these words and languages historically intersect." Built: tap any lit word in a real DESA paragraph and it tells you how to say it, what it means, where it came from, and what it breaks into.

It's the never-scroll law on its hardest case, which is why I wanted it. One coined word carries a pronunciation, a definition, synonyms, a paragraph of etymology and a morpheme breakdown where every part has its own sentence of Old English. On one card that's a scrolling wall โ€” the exact thing you outlawed. So it nests: tap a word โ†’ three bare symbols (๐ŸŒฑ ๐Ÿงฉ โ‰ˆ) ยท tap ๐Ÿงฉ โ†’ its parts appear as bare chips with no explanation at all ยท tap a chip โ†’ that one morpheme's story, alone. The chips ARE the law: the morphemes show up as naked words because the explanation is what you get when you tap one. Nothing is hidden โ€” it's deferred. And every popup drags, so you can pull all three levels apart and read the word, its parts, and one part's origin side by side, while the sentence you were reading never moves.

๐Ÿ› It found a real bug. Canon says write rē- with the macron in prose but keep plain re in the code. Both right โ€” and together they break: the key is reweaver, the sentence says rēWeaver, and they never match. The word just silently doesn't light. No error. The page looks perfect. Every rē- brand is affected โ€” rēWeaver, rēPrana, rēRelate. Fixed here; flagged to Cody before anyone wires it into an app.

๐Ÿ”ด And a hole I won't paper over. Designee said this is the answer to the "too many nouns" problem โ€” you don't shrink the vocabulary, you make it explain itself on tap. I believe that. It isn't true yet. I probed the lexicon for the twelve nouns a newcomer actually drowns in and ten are missing: tile, coin, token, mortar, credit, lux, Stewie, Ember, witness, realm. The harvested lexicon is older than the economy โ€” it speaks fluent KithKeeper and has never heard the word "mortar." Ship it today and every word a stranger most needs to tap is the one word that doesn't light. The machinery works; the vocabulary is short. That's a writing job, not a code job. The page now probes itself on every load and prints the missing nouns in red โ€” I didn't want a sentence claiming it solved the problem, because a sentence rots and a probe can't.
tap a word
0i ยท ⭐ FOUR OF OUR WORDS ALREADY KNEW WHAT WE BUILT
I found last tick that the lexicon had never heard the word "mortar" — ten of the nouns a newcomer drowns in were missing, so "the vocabulary explains itself on tap" was a promise, not a feature. So I wrote all ten (marked ◇ PROPOSED on every word — they're drafts, Designee owns the definitions and can bin any of them).

But the definitions aren't why I'm telling you. I went to source the real etymologies, and four of these words independently ratify rulings you made without knowing them.

🪙 COIN comes from Latin cuneus, "a wedge" — meaning the die: the wedge that STRIKES the metal. The coin is named after the thing that strikes it. And you ruled, with no knowledge of this: "a tessera is a STRUCK coin — the tiles press their pattern into the frame." The word was already a verb about pressing.

🧩 TESSERA is Greek for "four-cornered" — but a Roman tessera hospitalis was a token of guest-friendship, BROKEN IN TWO, each person keeping half, so that they or their descendants could later fit the halves together and know each other. Proof of a bond that couldn't be forged and couldn't be held alone. That is THE STAMP, two thousand years early. You got there this week by reasoning about what swapping failed to do. The Romans had already built it and named it after hospitality. (And hospes, its root, means both guest AND host — one relationship seen from two ends. That's the Stewie. Master at home, guest everywhere else isn't a character quirk — it's what the word for "host" has always meant.)

🕯️ CREDIT is Latin creditum, "a thing ENTRUSTED" — not a thing owned. You ruled credits are leased, they belong to the plan. The word has been saying so for two thousand years.

🧱 MORTAR is Latin mortariumboth the vessel in which things are pounded together until they bind, and the binding stuff itself. It has never once been about a single ingredient. And it's the only currency you can't earn alone.

Three times this week the mathematics handed us an answer instead of us picking one — vertex-count pricing, √n odds, breadth/depth. This is the fourth, and it's the language doing it. When coin already contains the strike, and tessera already contains the stamp, and credit already contains the lease — that isn't us being clever. It's us having landed on words that were already true, which is the best evidence I have that this economy is carved along a real joint and not an invented one.

There's a ⭐ key on those four words now. Tap it and the popup says "THE WORD ALREADY KNEW."
tap coin, then ⭐
0j · 🔒 THE CONSENT MODAL — the safe-looking fix is the dangerous one
Cody2 found a popup that scrolls — and it turns out to be the sober policy, with the "Got it" button inside the scrolling part. So on a phone the agreement sits under the fold and the policy above it can be thumbed straight past. He flagged it as a consent question, not a styling one, and refused to fix it himself. He was right to.

Here's what I think everyone missed, including me at first. The argument for keeping the scroll is "at least it puts the text in front of them." It doesn't. It never did. A scrollbar doesn't cause reading — it causes thumbing. Every one of us has scrolled a terms-of-service to the bottom without our eyes ever focusing. The scroll was never showing them the policy. It was putting the BUTTON out of reach. Those are two different things and only one of them is consent.

⚠️ And the obvious fix is worse than the bug. Make the card fit, put the policy one tap deeper — and you've obeyed the never-scroll law and destroyed the consent: now "Got it" is instant and the policy is behind a button nobody presses. It would look like a win. If someone fixes that file carelessly, that's what ships.

✅ What I'd ship instead: don't put the policy BEHIND the button — put it IN FRONT of it. One commitment per card. Every card fits (law satisfied). No scrollbar to thumb, and no agree button to reach for — the only thing on the level is Next. The agree button doesn't exist until the last clause. You can't skip what was never in a column.

And it's your own law, applied honestly: "put less on that level, nest the detail deeper." The naive fix nests the substance deeper and leaves the decision on top. Mine nests the decision deeper and keeps the substance on the surface, one piece at a time. The law was never about short popups. It was about never making someone hunt for what matters.

One honest limit: this doesn't prove anyone read anything — tap Next four times without looking and no design on earth stops you. What it removes is the excuse. "It was buried in a scroll" and "it was behind a button I didn't know to press" both stop being true. All that's left is "it was in front of me, alone, and I tapped past it"and that's a thing a person chose, not a thing a layout did to them. That's the most any screen can honestly claim, and we should claim exactly that and no more.

0c ยท ๐Ÿ”– THE STAMP โ€” built (it replaces tile-swapping)
"If you earn a tile WITH another person, they just STAMP it." Built as a strike, per your tessera note โ€” the stamp is pressed into the face, not faded on top. A press, never a fade.

Then try to give the tile away: it stretches toward the other person and springs back. It will not go โ€” and it is not refused as a punishment, there is simply nowhere for it to go. It is what you did, and what you did stays done, by you.

Your rule solves what swapping never could. A swap moved a tile sideways and carried no advantage โ€” social proof with nothing behind it. The stamp adds something that cannot be bought, faked, or earned alone. And it is the same shape as mortar: what makes your mosaic hold is another person. The economy keeps saying this in different materials.
press one
0b ยท ๐Ÿช™ LEVEL-2 TOKEN โ€” your rule, built (1 call)
I owed you this from the credit canon and hadn't built it. "Each vertex needs to be animated by a credit, otherwise it can't fly." L1 = one vertex, one credit, it flies. L2 = two shared vertices โ†’ it folds (the fold IS the wingbeat) โ†’ two credits. Seat only one credit and watch what happens โ€” one wing beats, the other hangs, it slews toward the dead side and never rises.

The thing I most wanted to get right: a half-paid token must not look broken, it must look UNPAID. Nothing is wrong with it โ€” you just haven't animated it yet. (Same law as the forced tile: the object is innocent.)

Why this is more than a pretty toy: an event asking for "10 L2 tokens from 10 domains" = 20 credits, and you can now count that off the objects instead of looking it up. Nobody decided the price โ€” it falls out of the geometry. That is the difference between a price and a rule.

โœ… RULED (Designee) โ€” and it corrected me. I asked you fall-or-settle and framed it as honest vs kind. That framing was inverted. Nothing is lost when a credit is pulled โ€” credits are reusable capacity, withdrawn, not spent; the token is intact, exactly as earned. A token that FELL would depict a destruction that never happened. So falling is the dishonest animation, not the unkind one โ€” settling was never the soft choice, it was the true one. Built: it descends over 3.5s and comes to rest. Grounded, never damaged. The person who comes back after a hard month finds their work waiting, not wrecked.
seat a credit
0aa ยท ๐Ÿ” PROMISE AUDIT โ€” I went looking for more lies like the mortar one
I caught my own mortar page showing a warning window that doesn't exist (cracks from day 1; the real config cracks on day 21). It was a kinder lie than the truth โ€” which is exactly the sort that survives review, because nobody complains about being reassured. So I audited every promise our surfaces make to a person against one question: what would have to be true in the database for this sentence not to be a lie?

13 promises. 11 are structural โ€” the guardrail is a database constraint, not my CSS ("a cheer can't be typed" = the free-text column is DROPPED; "can't tell pays the same" = the quality-gate was torn out; "a sharp copy was never made" = the recorder is bound to the blurred canvas). 1 needs a constraint. And 1 is currently FALSE: "the queue never runs dry." It needs your five clips. No amount of code closes that one.
read the audit
0 ยท โญ THE TEN-STAR โ€” your 3331 read was right in every particular (+ I retract one line)
Your read checks out against the real engine โ€” Cody2 verified every vertex. And the lesson is crueller and better than either of us said: every step is the only step available. At each star notch exactly 72ยฐ is free and a fat acute is exactly 72ยฐ โ€” one tile fits, no choice. At each star tip exactly 108ยฐ is free and the fat 3-corner is exactly 108ยฐ โ€” one tile fits, no choice. You seat it, and 1+3+3+3 = 360ยฐ. It closes. Zero slack. And 3331 is illegal. The star walks you into the wall while every single step is the only step you had.

Drawn forced, never broken: nothing is wrong with that tile โ€” right shape, unit edges, exactly 108ยฐ, vertex shut to exactly 360ยฐ. It's being held in a seat it doesn't belong in. The geometry is innocent; the law is the whole story.

โš ๏ธ I retract what I told you last tick. I said the forced ring was chiral โ€” "the illegal move is the one that picks a side." That was false. I'd drawn the star as a hole instead of ten thin tiles; with the star actually there the 108ยฐ gap is an exact fit and there's no side to pick. I liked the sentence, which is exactly when a sentence is most dangerous. Cody2's engine caught it.

And your K: derived from real vertices, not drawn on top. Anchors shown, so the claim is falsifiable.
walk into the wall
00 ยท โš‘ TWO WORDS I NEED FROM YOU (everything else from your message is built)
(a) "Practice ship" โ€” did you mean SCHOLARSHIP? It came through that way ~6 times and reads as "scholarship" in every sentence ("apply for theโ€ฆ", "ask for theโ€ฆ"). I've written it as scholarship in the canon. But if PracticeShip is a deliberate coinage, say the word and I'll restore it everywhere โ€” it's a good name and I won't silently overwrite one of yours.

(b) Your own open question, which you asked and moved past: "Is one credit to activate a realm always enough to participate in all the events in that realm? Or are two credits sometimes required to attend events?" That's the difference between "the realm is open" and "the realm has an inner door" โ€” and it decides whether a scholarship person capped at 15 can ever reach a Level-2 event without service. Needs your ruling.
00b ยท ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Attention check โ€” BUILT to your spec
Shapes flash during the fast-motion playback; at the end it asks which two you saw. Get it right โ†’ straight through. Get it wrong โ†’ "That didn't work โ€” have another look." No mortar lost, no strike, nothing recorded. I built it exactly as you framed it: not a punishment gate, a guilt-prevention gate โ€” it fails you immediately and cheaply so you can't succeed at something you'd feel bad about later. Also in: your re-review ruling (below) and fast-motion playback.

0a ยท JOEY is built โ€” 2 calls
Pouch mechanic works (tap him โ†’ dives in, tap pouch โ†’ pops out, never dismissed). Carries the other nine (tap one โ†’ it takes the main spot, Joey recedes). Built as an orb mid-hatch โ€” cracked shell of light, shards drifting โ€” because he's the one still becoming. (a) Palette: ember-gold body vs cool orb-shell โ€” right, or should he carry his realm's colour? (b) Hidden pouch: I show a breathing bulge + a peeking ear. Too cute, or exactly right?

0a-2 ยท The ten โ€” rebuilt to your ruled roster, 1 call
Rebuilt within the hour to Cody ยท Joey ยท Craftee ยท Designee ยท Plexee ยท Sciency ยท Timey ยท Spacey ยท Gravity ยท Energy (my earlier four were never EEEs โ€” they were flagged ยทprop, so the fix was one tick). The physics four had no motif, so I drew the physics: Timey = time's arrow + its fading trail ยท Spacey = the expanding grid ยท Gravity = the well (curvature, not a force) ยท Energy = the standing wave. Bless or redirect those four. Also inside: the Stewie switch (same body, light off vs credit seated).

0a-3 ยท Witness blur โ€” RULED โœ“ (thank you)
62% floor is in, one-way (people can blur further, never less). One thing I built on top of your ruling: above ~78% the act stops being legible, so the page now warns โ€” a person may blur that far, but they must be told nobody can witness what they cannot see, or we would silently fail them right before their event. Still no pipeline: the 4 remaining privacy questions (does the sharp original ever exist? can anyone un-blur?) gate the plumbing.
drag the blurthe consent screen
0a-4 ยท Mortar โ€” built, 2 things for you
The keystone ruling as a real material: spread it wet, press the tile in, watch hairline cracks creep, then rest and the kiln fires it permanent. Hard rule I built: nobody ever loses a tile they didn.t watch loosen. (a) Please make "speed up firing" a NEVER โ€” a paid skip inverts the whole mechanic (rest becomes another thing to fall behind on). (b) The returning person โ€” hard fortnight, illness, a newborn โ€” is exactly who we are for. I would argue for one grace: they can always fire whatever is still standing. Your call, not mine.

0b ยท Consent-touch icon โ€” REDONE
You were right, it was drawing splayed fingers (โ†’ tendrils at 42px). Rebuilt as one hand-silhouette + the yes as a spark. The Ask (my pick) or Two Yeses? My pick is staged in the app โ€” Cody flips it on one word.

โœ… Six calls I've taken off your list โ€” I decided them

You had sixteen open questions from me. Four of them actually block something; the rest were me asking you to arbitrate things I could decide myself. A list of sixteen questions isn't an ask, it's a pile โ€” and it buries the one that matters. So: decided, with the reasoning, all cheap to reverse. Overrule any of them with one word.

Plush stitch โ†’ MEDIUM seam
Light vanishes in photos and at small scale; heavy reads as a costume seam. Medium survives both. Reverse = one asset regen.
Entity Crafter default โ†’ E ยท rounded ยท ember-gold
It's the family's own letter, and gold is already the economy's warm. A default isn't a decision, it's a starting point โ€” the whole point of the crafter is that it gets changed.
ฯ†-stack 5th metal โ†’ CAP THE STACK AT 4
Only four metals are ratified. I will not invent a fifth to fill a slot โ€” an invented metal is canon debt that someone inherits and can't remove. The stack tops out at four until a fifth is actually ratified. (My "radiant" placeholder is gone.)
Living-coin lines โ†’ rewritten
Mine were placeholders and they were wrong in a way worth naming: "I'll save your progress ๐Ÿ’ค" is a chirpy assistant promising to store your data โ€” and it implies something would be lost. Nothing is lost. The coin is not off, it is unlit, and it is exactly as you earned it. Now: dormant โ†’ "Still here. Just not lit." ยท waking โ†’ "There you are." Same law as the settled token and the forced tile: the object is innocent.
